Georges Seurat
Some really GOOD examples of building value using the side of a piece of conte can be found in the drawings of the famous Post-Impressionist Georges Seurat. I have a few examples below. It might be a smart idea to get some examples into your sketchbook and maybe try a master study or two. However, if you search for examples of your own, you want to specifically look for his conte drawings, not his pointilist paintings.
